I am usually NOT an early Christmas person. I normally wait until November to start making Christmas cards. I had purchased this poinsettia stamp somewhat recently and wanted to use it with the Penny Black NOEL stamp. To make this card, I used my Stampin' Up! markers to color directly on the rubber. Then, I lightly misted with a spray bottle and stamped down. The result is a water colored image. I LOVE this technique... especially with Penny Black flowers! I embossed the Noel in white. Then I cut a piece of Basic Grey Blitzen to use as a background and sponged the edges with artichoke. I added a little bling to the center of the flower and tied a piece of ribbon below the focal point.
