I don't know how feasible it is to call a country bumpkin with stonewashed jean shorts elegant, but this card has that feel to me! :) LOL
I started with some Stella Ruby Basic Grey patterned paper and colored my Rubber Romance Carrie to match. You can find Rubber Romance girls here: http://www.eclecticpaperie.com/rurounru.html
To color her, I used a combination of SU markers, reinker and aquapainter, and Prismacolor pencils, gamsol and stumps. I covered a chipboard flower with a coordinating paper from the Basic Grey Stella Ruby pack and inked the edges. Then, I stamped that super cool western flourish on it: http://starvingartistamps.com/southwestern_ornamentals.html
The brad in the center of the flower is made my Paper Studio. It has cool little slots to pull ribbon through. Anything that gives me a reason to use even more ribbon is AOK with me! :) I finished off the card with some stitching and organdy ribbon.
Have a wonderful day!
