Today, I went to a crop at a LSS, Stamp & Scrap Trap (link on side-bar). The ladies there are SO nice and SO fun! :) I had a REALLY great time and it was a productive day too! I got 4 cards done in 7 hours. LOL We chatted, ate and shopped, so all things considered I was happy that I walked away with 4 finished cards.
The card that my secret sis, Carole sent me was my inspiration for card making today. :) I was in Elzybells heaven!
What is funny about me attending crops is that I do not scrapbook. LOL I sit there and make cards! :) Today, I packed everything but the kitchen sink. I took my Cuttlebug, my Janome sewing machine... and just about anything else that I thought I *might* need. I probably used about 10% of what I brought, but I was well prepared nonetheless. LOL
I will share the cards I made with you over the next couple days, but I will start with this one today. :)
Stamps: Elzybells, AMuse
Inks: Stazon Black, whisper white, real red, soft sky, always artichoke, blush blossom, pretty in pink, close to cocoa
Paper: real red, basic black, whisper white, soft sky, Figgy Basic Grey
Accessories: Heidi Swapp snowflake ghost shape, silver brads, Janome sewing machine, white organdy ribbon, stitched soft sky ribbon, dazzling diamonds, quickie glue pen, Prismacolor pencils, blending stump, odorless mineral spirits, liquid applique, Sakura clear sparkle pen, dimensionals
Elzybells image was colored with Stampin Up markers and blender pen. Shading was done with Prismacolor pencils and blending stump. Girl's legs and skate were masked to stamp small oval for "ice". I went over the oval with a quickie glue pen and then dusted with Dazzling Diamonds (Stampin Up).
Stay tuned for more Elzybells cards!
Have a GREAT day! :)
