Here is another card in my Elzybells card series. I also made this one at the LSS crop. I took my printed out copy of Jen Del Muro's sketch with me: http://iheart2stamp.com/2007/11/03/a-sketch-for-you-to-try-6/
Thanks to Carole http://motherslittlehelper.typepad.com/mothers_little_helper/ for sending me the super cute stamped image. Now I need this stamp. LOL
This card is a 5 1/2 inch square. I wanted plenty of the cute Christmas tree paper to show behind all the layering. The girls are colored with SU markers and I used my air art tool and blender pen turned soft sky marker to make the snow falling all around them. I didn't mask the girls when I did this. I just placed 2 fingertips on their faces so their faces wouldn't get splattered and splattered everything else. :) I used my nestabilities die to cut and emboss the panel that is stamped. Then, I cut a square of of artichoke paper and embossed a scalloped square into it. I used my Janome sewing machine to stitch around a couple panels and layered following the sketch. I added a simple Heidi Swapp ghost shape snowflake and stamped my sentiment on one of the panels.
Oh and yes, I actually took my little Janome sewing machine with me to the crop. I made sure to get a seat near an outlet and set up shop. LOL I had a "sewing station" like I do at home. LOL
