This is a simple project I came up with for some Christmas goodies. I had been given these long, skinny bags by a friend over a year ago to be used with Pixie Sticks, but thought they would make great M&Ms tubes. :) I made a paper funnel to help me get the M&Ms in the bags. Then I tied it off with red grosgrain ribbon. Before making the "knot" in the ribbon, I laid a piece of silver stretchy cord over the tied area so that it would be "in" the knot. Then, I attached a tag that I had placed an eyelet in with the silver cord by tying it, then snipping off the ends. This project was very simple and I was able to make quite a few while watching the Survivor finale on Sunday night. I would have made more, but I ran out of bags. LOL
Stamps: Papertrey Holiday Treats
Ink: Glorious Green, Real Red
Paper: Glorious Green, Real Red, Green Galore, SU Whisper White
Accessories: brads, eyelet, silver cord, red grosgrain ribbon, bags, M&Ms, various circle punches
Wow, that's amazing. I wouldn't do even half of the projects you've recently showed. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! Reminds me of the carrot shaped ones you see at Easter time but I love the look of the greens and red! Fabulous!

ReplyDeleteThese are so cute!! What a great idea! It is good to have you back. I was worried that something was wrong. I missed my "RIBBON" fix of the day. Have a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeletehey Jody,
ReplyDeleteI hadn't checked my google reader in awhile and had 877 posts. (aack!) Only 13 were yours but wow, they were great posts. What awesome gifts ideas you have been working on. I love these tubes and the patty boxes and the tins! Great ideas! How in the world do you find the time? I saw that you do it during TV time. I need to do more of that but what a pain to drag all my stuff out and then put it away again. But, I guess it would be worth it if I would actually get something done! Thanks for your great Christmas idea posts!
