My Basket Tutorial

After making the basket following Laura's tutorial, I was inspired to try to make one of my own that would be user friendly for the ladies at the LSS. I taught a class yesterday and was determined to make a basket that would fit within the time frame of the class. I had a class of 11 and the ladies were able to complete the basket in about 2 hours, 15 minutes.

The entire tutorial for the basket is typed out on the pictures. I thought it would be easier to follow in that format. The basket is easy to make and would be perfect for Easter treats! I would love to see yours, so if you upload to your blog or gallery, please link it in the comment section of this post. :)

I recommend using red line tape for the basket. A textured, heavyweight card stock works best.

I hope you enjoy the tutorial. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and make sure to leave your e-mail address. :)

Happy "box" weaving!

  7. GORGEOUS, Jody! I am going to try one for my ds' teacher Easter gift. Since I have Carpal Tunnel, I may have to do only a little bit at a time over several days. I am looking forward to making it, however!
