Some great friends of mine came to visit last weekend. :) We chatted, stamped, shopped and ate! It was GREAT fun and we had lots of laughs. In between all the silliness we actually got some projects done!
I have been so incredibly busy (and stressed) this past week so even though I INTENDED to start sharing these sooner than this, my tired self couldn't force my "good blogger self" to do it. LOL
Here is project number one. This was a pre-printed Valentine "booklet" by Cosmo Cricket. You simply have to cut along the lines and then put them together somehow. I decided to use my bind it all to make a true little book. I cut some chipboard 1/4 inch bigger than the sheets (which were 4 X 6) and covered them on both sides with patterned paper that matches the booklet sheets. Then, I embellished the cover, filled in all the booklet pages that are perfect for personalization and bound it all together. I presented this to my hubby while my friends were still here. He loved it. I felt he deserved a little extra thank you for dealing with suit cases everywhere, stamp stuff EVERYWHERE, crazy LOUD ladies and time away from me even though I never "left". Each of the ladies that were here made one for their hubby as well.
There are 6 pages printed on front and back as well as the covers. I gave you a peek at a couple of the pages inside. :)
Stamps: SU Always
Paper: Cosmo Cricket (I think it is hey sugar)
Accessories: We R Memory Keepers copper hardware, Bind it all, Janome sewing machine, Prima flowers, chipboard
I have lots more to share over the next week so stay tuned. :)
Also coming soon... a NEW and fun share!
Love love love this, Jody!
