Flower Garden Set

OH MY GOODNESS! I am squealing in my baby voice here. LOL A few weeks ago I was strolling Target and saw some Kraft colored bags of flower seeds with a super fun large silver eyelet at the top. While I was cooing at those (and grabbing a few for my cart), my husband picked up a little flower pot and told me it would be cute "for my stamping". So of course I grabbed that too, because when a husband gets involved in any way, you have to get excited about that. I mean... if he thinks I can do something with it, then I need to. If nothing else than to encourage future participation right? So, I have had those two items sitting in plain view (so they don't get forgotten) for several weeks and I decided today was the day to create! I had already decided I was going to use my flower Bella which I had never used before. I just got this fun paper from Scenic Route and it looked oh so cute with the two "alterables" so my inspiration was born!

I started out with the card first. Bella is stamped and colored with Copic markers. The sketch for the card came from Amy Rysavy HERE. Thanks for the inspiration. :) I resisted the urge to cover up the paper because I just LOVE the patterns. SO fun and SO perfect for summer!

Then, I moved on to the bag of seeds. I basically made a quick and easy card front. I added a little stitching and embellishments. The directions for the seeds are on the back of the packet and I left them as is so this can actually be used. :)

I decided to make a whole set and set out to alter the hubby-found mini pot. I removed the cover from the pot and used it as a pattern to make one that matched the card and seed packet. It was pretty easy really.

Tada! A cute little flower garden set! This is going to someone who gifted me with the stamp used on the seed packet. I hope she likes it. :)

Thanks for sharing and for the tutorial on how to do the pot ourselves. :-)
