We're Not Scared

I am still taking orders for my RIBBON SHARE and STICKY SALE.

This card uses a new set from MFT named "We're Not Scared". Isn't the scarecrow adorable? I didn't have any scarecrows in my arsenal of stamps, so I was glad to be able to play with this one. It comes with those cute owls and some stalks of corn as well.

I stamped the scarecrow in Memento brown and colored in with Copics. The twill BG was stamped afterward. I used Eclipse masking tape to cover Mr. Scarecrow while I was stamping it. The owls were stamped, colored, cut out and adhered using varying heights. I sliced a piece of creamy caramel card stock in super thin strips using my Cutterbee scissors and inserted sections into the end of the sleeves and at the waist. I made a slit with my craft knife so it would appear to be sticking out of the clothing.

The Prima is made of burlap. It came in a pack with 8 colors, 3 of each color. I need more. :) I love the look! The brads are a new size I found at Michaels. They are in between mini brads and large brads. They are also squared at the edges instead of rounded. I love them. I bought all they had (7 packs LMAO). In light of my stock up, I felt it was AOK to use 10 on one card!
