Celebrate MFT Day!

Please forgive me, for I have used bright colors.

Celebrate MFT Day=the 20th of EVERY month!

Please ingrain this date into your MFT brains. :) On the 20th of each month, all year long... we will celebrate MFT. :) Make a card and share your MFT talent with your MFT sisters... on the 20th... and any other day you want to. LOL 20th... MFT... 20th... MFT... 20th... MFT. Got it? LOL

Today I am celebrating MFT with a card using the new BC Dzyns set "and then I said".

I stamped one of the words included in the set across her tank top (inspired by Mel). I had my 8 year, Madeline, in mind when I made this card. Yellow and red are her 2 favorite colors (this month anyway lol) and I wanted to make an outfit that she would wear. LOL The scary part is she would SO wear this. She also wears pink and red together *shudder*... but only when Daddy takes her to school. LOL As for the sentiment on the shirt, she doesn't say that... yet! But I do. LOL

Image is colored with Copic markers and sparklized (new word) with Stickles. YES, I let them dry over night. You should be proud of my new-found patience. LOL

Ink: Memento black
Paper: gray, yellow, red, white
Accessories: dew drops, ribbon, clear button, black floss, paper piercer, Copic markers, Stickles, black foam dimensionals, horizontal slot punch

  1. Great Card Jody! Your comments about your daughter cracked me up. How I remember those days. (My daughter is now 27 years old). What fond funny memories though. It's anycolor with anycolor till they hit a certain age, then it's "I can't wear THAT!!" No matter what color it is...Thanks for the chuckle!

  2. OMG! I love this! This reminds me of my DD sitting at the table reluctantly listening to something I might be saying. LOL - So cute! And she's now 18 but I still cringe at what she wears - ha,ha.

  9. Ooh, I totally LOVE her glittery shirt! I so have to get this set... Question: do you use a separate block to mount each stamp, or are they repositionable so you only need a couple of blocks and just switch out the stamps as you need to? Yeah, I admit it... I'm clear-stamp-challenged! :)
