just because

I love this sassy little girl with her hand on her hip.  This is not a characteristic my girls have, THANK GOODNESS.  LOL  Should I say YET?  Knock on wood?  LOL

The image is stamped in Memento black on white and then cut out and placed on the ivory panel.  I LOVE Cosmo Cricket patterned paper, but it is KILLING ME that it is all IVORY based.  UGH!  Give me some white, Cosmo!  LOL  The image is colored with Copic markers.  The layout is a CASE of a card by Amy Rohl.  I love her sense of style!  She is a HOOT in real life too, but that is just a bonus. :)

Stamping trick: When you stamp a sentiment on patterned paper, sometimes it gets "lost" in the pattern.  To make it stand out more, heat emboss it.  If you don't have (or don't like in my case) black embossing powder, do the following:
  • ink up sentiment in Versamark
  • now ink up again with black ink ( I used Memento)
  • now stamp it on your card stock
  • cover with clear embossing powder, tap off excess
  • heat
Yes, I stamp some Versamark ink in my Memento and no, it doesn't ruin your ink pad (unless you do it a zillion times in a row... then maybe it will LOL).

I used clear glitter and a red brad on her bow.  1 simple fuzzy brad finished off the card!
Ink: Memento black, Versamark
Paper: PTI white, ivory and black, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird
Accessories: clear glitter, quickie glue pen, red teeny tiny brad (MFT Kit), Copic markers, red fuzzy brad, clear embossing powder, red line dimensionals, EK edge punch
