I have been stampin' away (thank goodness for adjusting to life with Puffle, right?) Speaking of Puffle... I have given her exactly 3 baths and all 3 times, she was NOT happy. Shaking, whining, and whimpering ensue... but it must be done, right? LOL This past time, I had an extra set of hands on deck (thank you, hubby) and just HAD to grab my camera and take a picture of her after her bath (and BEFORE being blown dry). She looks SO funny and adorable... right? LOL Or are you thinking this is a face only a puppy-Mommy could love. *grin*
The image was stamped in Memento black and then colored with Copic markers. I drew in the ground with a fine black marker.
I even finished off the inside with another of the stamps that comes with the set.

My second card uses the same image and papers. I stamped her in Memento black ink and colored a portion and then paper-pieced the rest.
Here is a peek inside:

The cards are very cute, but don't hold a candle to Puffle! Dang, I am not a small dog kinda gal, but she is sooooo cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the way dogs look wet, esp little doggies...it's so funny!
ReplyDeleteYour work is amazing. I love all the little details you add, like those covered buttons on the 2nd one!
Jody, Puffle is adorable, even wet, lol. I hope you don't mind some unsolicited advise: use lots of treats when bathing him! For some reason tidbits of cooked chicken work best. Just place them in the tub and let him eat them while the water's off. Take him out, place more treats in the tub put him in there, but this time let the water run softly. Slowly build him up and he'll come around to loving bath time. :)
ReplyDeletePS: Love the cards, as always!
Cute puppy and adorable cards!
ReplyDeleteAck! Puffle is ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are FABULOUS too! I hope to get my hands on the new stamps very soon! I've been busy playing with the last ones ;)
