I have to admit the Cheerleader set inspired me. I cheered all through high school and one year of middle school.
If you plan on buying one of these, buy BOTH. The sentiments are VERY interchangeable, and I found that I NEEDED to mix them up to say what I wanted. It is fun to have more sentiment options.
Here is my cheerleader:
I colored and cut out her pom poms and then covered them in Diamond Stickles. A girl needs sparkly pom poms. ;) I adhered them with red line dimensionals.
I used a sketch by Jen del Muro.
Here is a peek inside. I used the Jumbo Ric Rac die. Notice anything different? It's not as jumbo! I learned a trick from Erin, that you can cut your Jumbo Ric Rac, then move over the die-cut piece and cut again. You can make it half the size! How cool, huh? It makes the die more versatile. :)
My cheerleader is cheering for a football player from the same patterned paper team. It's the My Mind's Eye Dreamy 2 collection team. LOL
My girls REALLY liked this card. They gave me the cute little cooing noises that I love so much. Their favorite part? The GRASS STAINS. heehee That is what my high school son looks like after a football game. :) I embossed the grass that Football Player is standing on with the Grosgrain Texture Board to make it resemble grass.
The inside was finished off with a sentiment from the set and an accessory image from the set.
See you tomorrow. I'll have 2 more cards to share!
