Sweet Valentines

Hi everyone!  Today the MFT team has banded together for a creative challenge to show you some fun Valentine's Day gift and card ideas.

I knew immediately I wanted to make a gift item and the new(ish) Sweet Surprise Gift Box was JUST the ticket!  I cut the template using my Make The Cut software, and my Cricut Expression.  I just LOVE not having to fuss with cutting out templates.  Technology is so amazing.  :)  I made a couple of them to use at gift-card holders and used the cute Tweeny Teen Rock On stamp set because I filled them with iTunes gift cards. 

I created a belly band to keep them closed, and simply covered the flap with patterned paper.

Here is another one I made.  :)  They are so fun (and addicting).

This is what it looks like when it's opened up.  The top flap flips up, and the side flaps flip out, leaving you with a cute little pocket you can put a small treat in (or gift card like I did).

Here is the cute, optional gift card slot you can slide into the pocket.  You could also slip some cash in there.  :)  Isn't that fun?
