I used Basic Grey Marjolaine patterned paper as my inspiration and used the same soft, earthy colors for my Copic coloring and embellishments. I used the brand new Simply Scallops Die-namics die. It is included in this month's VIP Collection! It's the perfect size, and cuts the whole shape out, which makes it much easier to use IMHO. I used one of my FAVE Heidi Swapp ghost shape flowers, with a center punched from the patterned paper pack I used.
She is colored with Copic markers. I colored her jeans first, and then used a piece of denim fabric drenched in colorless blender refill to add the denim texture. The fish is paper-pieced with a pattern from the paper pack. I drew in the ground with Prismacolor pencils.
Here is a peek inside. I used more of the patterned paper, and a fun sentiment from the set. Cracks me up!
