Isn't she adorable? I just love her holding the "globe". As with the set yesterday, she is versatile. You can "go green" or "go sentimental". Given the choice, I always choose sappy, so I chose the sweet sentiment included in the set.
She is colored with Copic markers. I drew in the ground with Prismacolor pencils.
I wanted to add some detailed stitching to my Simply Scallops Die-namics die-cut. I die-cut another Simply Scallops die-cut and traced the edges of it with a pencil. I then stitched along the pencil line one stitch at a time with my sewing machine. It didn't take too terribly long and I like the added detail it adds to this otherwise simple card.

ReplyDeleteWow, great job of coloring and STITCHING!! I couldn't talk my machine into doing scallops -- nor would it take such heavy thread. How'd you do that??

ReplyDeleteExcellent work!
ReplyDeleteJodi, what paper cutter do you use? Your cuts are always perfectly straight, no wobbly mats. I've tried (easily) 10 different ones and none of them cut as precise as yours.
Thanks,
Sharon
