I fell in love with the Calendula Pure Innocence this month. I just love everything about this stamp from her expression, to her dress, to the gorgeous Calendula she is holding. She is stamped on SU Naturals White card stock and colored with Copic markers. I drew in the grass with my Prismacolor pencils. I added the sentiment to the Oval Tab Die-namics and snuck a die-cut from the Postage Stamp Border Die-namics behind the main image.
I made the embellishment using 2 different Prima flowers and a cool Prima button I found recently at 2 Peas. The crocheted flower had a big ol' peach pearl rimmed with a gold thingy, but I am not a gold fan, so I ripped it off and used the much more fitting wooden button. It was threaded on with SU Linen Thread.
I finished off the inside, too. I stamped her in an orange chalk ink and I promise she is not fluorescent like the pic is making her. LOL I stamped the sentiment on the Oval Decorative Doily, and opted not to decorate it any further so I had room to write in the card.
Oh sweet little Calendula girl. How I adore you...
Here are the Die-namics dies I used for this card:

I went with some more earthy embellishments to pair with the bright purply-pink patterned paper. The main image is matted on brown card stock and then layered over the Open Scallop Doily Die-namics.
I cut apart, and then stamped the sentiment on the little tag from Bon Appétit Die-namics. I just love that thing! The pink ribbon was stamped from Who's that Girl Chooses Hope, which will also be released on October 4th.
She was stamped on SU Naturals Ivory and colored with Copic markers. I added Cool Highlight glitter to the heart to help it stand out against her dress, which colored very similarly.
Here is a peek inside the card.
Here is the pencil gift box I created. I used the same patterned papers, with the same general layout. This time, I used the Open Scallop Doily Duo to layer her on, and because the circle is so small, I opted to cut her out.
The sentiment was stamped in the same manner as the card and then I wrapped SU Linen Thread around it and hung it from the ribbon on the box.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used for the card and pencil gift box.
