It's Party Time with the à la modes

Hi all and thanks for popping in today.  It's day 5 of MFT Teaser Time, and that means it's à la modes day!  I just love these sweet characters!  

This card uses one of the new sets, Martinis on Me.

She is colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment was stamped on a strip of coordinating patterned paper and stitched on with my machine.  I wanted the focus (and color) to be on the Appletini, so I left her dress white and opted to color the liquid green and the glass a light shade of blue.

I kept this card REALLY simple and added only a couple Kraft corduroy buttons from SU.  I tied Honeydew Twine through it to tie in all the green.

This awkward picture was taken because I wanted you to see that I coated the liquid area of the glass with Sakura Clear Glaze Pen.
