Hi all and thanks for stopping by today. It's day 5 of MFT Teaser Time and today we are featuring the newest à la modes stamp sets.
My first card uses The Rainbow Will Come. This sweet stamp set is perfect for paper-piecing. I added 3, 2mm Swarovski crystals for buttons on her jacket. She was colored with Copic markers. The image was cut out and matted using the new Oval STAX Set 1 and 2 Die-namics dies.
I just HAD to paper-piece that big ol' umbrella.
The sentiment was stamped on the File Tab Die-namics.
I added a bow using the new Sno Cone ribbon from MFT.
This card uses It's Getting Deep. I love the adorable sentiments. Who knew shoveling could be so cute?
She is colored with Copic markers. I cut her out and matted the oval using the new Oval STAX Die-namics dies! They are COOL and NEW from MFT! Nesting dies that provide a nice, small border when layering. With 7 dies per set (2 sets), that is a LOT of layering possibilities.
This is the new Mini Monarch Border Die-namics. I just love this shape and now it's offered in 3 sizes, so you'll have one for every occasion.
I used the new Berrylicious Grosgrain Ribbon from MFT on this card.
I wanted to give you a peek at the new STAX style dies from MFT. This is the largest die from Oval STAX Set 2. It includes a clear backer, so you can see exactly where you are cutting.
It provides a small embossed border around the perimeter of the shape.
For the "mat" I chose the largest oval from Oval STAX Set 1. Notice how big these are. They work REALLY well with the à la modes and Pure Innocence stamps, and were designed specifically to layer with the large Oval Doilies (all 3).
Here are the two pieces layered together. You can see the nice, small border they leave when layering.
Here are the details about the upcoming release on March 6th at 10 PM EST:
