I cut the canopy and handle in hot fudge, and then cut the decorative pattern using patterned paper. It's very easy to piece together; just start at one side and move your way to the other side.
I stamped the sentiment on the banner from First Place Award Ribbon. The umbrella is perched on circles cut using Circle STAX Sets 1 & 2.
The inside is finished off with 2 more sentiments from the set and the Medium Simply Scallops Border.
Here are all the dies I used on this card:
Here is the sketch for you. I hope you'll play along. :)

Awesome card Jody, I so want a flower umbrella like this...FUN!
ReplyDeleteExcellent card -great idea to add the pattered paper to the umbrella. Great theme for our weather here, lately... we live very close to Seattle. The sunshine is definitely being stingy. Just so you know... you enabled me into buying both Circle Stax & the Fishtail Flags -Ugh!! Stop it!! And, it is an extra fun purchase because our little-girl-black-pug is named Stax. She is on the side bar of my blog if you are curious. :)
ReplyDeleteYour stitching is always PERFECT! Wish I could sew in circle but I've tried and failed miserably. LOL!
