My Favorite Sentiments - MFT Birthday Bash

Hi everyone!  I'm VERY excited about the start of the MFT July Release Teaser Time!  There are SO many great products being released AND there is a special offer in honor of MFT's 6th Birthday!  Here are the details about that, from MFT:

MFT is so excited to celebrate our 6th birthday this month! It has been our pleasure serving you and look forward to many more years to come.  In honor of the celebration, we have a special offer for you.  From July 3 through July 31, we are offering the My Favorite Sentiments stamp set at the bargain price of just $6 ($17.95 retail value).  The stamp set is a graphic collection of sentiments inspired by you, our valued MFT fans.

I am in LOVE with the stamp set!  It has so many awesome, graphic sentiments.  I'm having a hard time putting it down.  :)   I attached a picture of the set down below, so keep on scrolling so you don't miss anything.  

I have been in a patriotic color combo kinda mood...  I just love the Glory line of patterned paper from Authentique.  I am also feeling a little sentimental, so bear with me as I explain each card in crafty and sentimental detail.  

The first card uses the sentiment: DREAM Until Your Dreams Come True.  

Sentimental words: I never dreamt I'd be part of such an amazing team of designers.  We stamp together, laugh together, and support one another not only in craftiness, but in life.  I am so lucky to be able to work with the ladies I do!  I have so enjoyed watching MFT grow and Kim is one of THE nicest, most generous, caring people I have ever known.  Loving MFT is supporting a whole team of people that work together and are friends.

I stamped the sentiment on patterned paper with Navy ink from amuse studio.  It provides really good coverage with clear stamps!  Love it.  I created the embellishment with: Circle STAX, Star STAX, and Notched Tag (Heart).  I tucked in a Mix & Match Banner to the right of the sentiment to balance out the card a bit.  All the edges of patterned paper were sanded and distressed.

I added a strip of stars using the Star Border and then made two "star buttons" using the star from Notched Tag.  I stitched them on with Linen Thread from SU.

My second card uses the sentiment: You Inspire Me

Sentimental Words:  So much inspires me on a daily basis.  First, I am inspired by the owner of MFT, Kim.  She inspires me to be a better person, to reflect, take time for myself, and be a better mother and wife.  My fellow teammates inspire me to push my creative boundaries and to be more supportive and social.  All of the comments I receive by YOU inspire me to keep on stamping and sharing.

The sentiment was stamped on patterned paper using amuse studio Navy ink.

I'm currently obsessed stuck on enjoying making frames with my Circle STAX.  It's a nice alternative to stitching in a circle (one stitch at a time) and adds a bold touch to an otherwise boring (sometimes) element.  I like.  I shall continue on with my obsession.  LOL

I can't get enough of the tiniest tag in the Traditional Tags STAX.  It's just TOO fun. The star is from Notched Tag.  I added some piercing to give it a little something extra.

I went a little wild with the red brads (Pink Hedgehog Papercrafts) and added a couple X stitches using SU Linen Thread.

A Mix & Match Banner "tab" found it's way to this card also.  I'm like a broken record with stamping tricks.  If I like it once... ten times is surely better.  LOL
