You Light up My Life

Hi everyone!  It's Wednesday and time for another Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge from MFT!  You can click on over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the participating designers came up with using sketch #78.
I used the adorable Lightbulb Moment à la modes stamp set.  I really love coloring this image!  

She is colored using Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.  I've been adding in black colored pencil to help draw out shadows when my Prismacolor pencil color is a little too light.  It's a great way to deepen the color!


I added a bit of Sakura Clear Glaze pen to the "light spots" on the bulb.  The sentiment was stamped on one of the Fishtail Banners.  I added the Simply Scallops Medium border at the bottom of the card with newsprint patterned paper.  The colors were a little bold, and I had used quite a few patterns so I left it alone and didn't add any embellishments.
