Thanks Coach

Hi all and welcome to Day 4 of MFT Teaser Time.  Today, we are showing you the newest Die-namics and Stamp Set combos and I used the Jersey stamp set because I was in need of a thank you card for my son's football coach.  The coach has been so great to my son during the past 3 years and he is headed off to play football at a different school so I wanted to make a little something he could give to his coach.  In order for it to be acceptable (for a teenage boy) the card must meet the following conditions:

• It may not be girly
• It must contain no ribbon or embellishments
• KEEP IT SIMPLE

With those things in mind, here is the card I whipped up.  I used his number.  His coach was sweet enough to allow Nathan to take his jersey with him!  (awwwwww)

I used the school colors and created a jersey to match the home jerseys.  I cut along the score lines to make the jersey "collar", sleeves, and trim.  The numbers were stamped on Lemon Drop card stock and then cut out.  The sentiment was stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black ink.  There are really cool score lines on the die that are hard to see in this picture, but it really helps pull together the whole look.

I needed a little something extra, but didn't want to break any "man rules" so I added a strip of Double Dot Border Die-namics along the bottom.  Easy, peasy, simple (and maybe my son won't be TOO embarrassed to give away this card LOL).
