You Captured My Heart

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today!  It's day 2 of MFT Teaser Time and time to feature the new stamp sets and Die-namics in the Laina Lamb Design line.  These are scrapbook-geared, but SO versatile.  I loved putting my brain to work and pulling out some older stamp sets to follow my vision and create this card.

I used Journal It - Graph Paper Notes, Document It - Captured Memories, InstaFrame Die-namics, and Looped Border Die-namics.

I literally sat, envisioning the card and how I would make it work.  Then, I had to hunt around in my stamp drawers to find elements that would work.  I started by decorated the usable space on the InstaFrame.  I incorporate the YOU from Airplane Greetings, a Heart from Just the Ticket, and the 100% from Howdy.  I stamped the Darling Dots in white craft ink on the Razzle Berry layer.  The YOU and heart icon were stamped with the new Razzle Berry Ink Pad!

I am quite the literal person, so I wanted to capture the heart...  Sweet "jail" bars fit the bill quite nicely. I cut strips that are 1/16" and adhered them on the inner side of the InstaFrame.  The heart inside is from Hearts a Plenty and is stamped with Own Your Story stamp set using Razzle Berry Ink.

I popped up the frame and mounted it on a 3 X 4 insert.  I added a couple pieces of Looped Border to jazz it up a bit.

I added a couple elements from the Document It - Captured Memories stamp set along the top of the card.  OH SNAP is stamped on a Sentiment Strip.

The graph paper was stamped with Journal It - Graph Paper Notes in Razzle Berry Ink.
