My first card today uses the new Homespun Hearts stamp set and Rustic Hearts Die-namics, along with the Brand Spankin' New Premium Dye Ink Pad in KRAFT (love).
I used a Kraft base and some muted patterned papers. The heart was stamped using Kraft Premium Dye Ink. I cut the stamped heart out with the Rustic Hearts Die-namics and added some simple Fishtail Flags. The Hemp Cord was tied around the sentiment, which I added a Notebook Edge to. A single Kraft button threaded with Hemp Cord finished it off. I tucked the new Heart Doily behind all the layers and distressed it with navy ink. I roughed up the edges a bit and added some wonky stitching. If you look closely you can see a single strip of Darling Dots stamped in white craft ink. The card layout was inspired by Amy Sheffer. Thanks for the inspiration!
Here is a peek inside using another sentiment from the set.
My second card is very clean and simple, using only a handful of products, most of which are new. I stamped the background using the new Sno Cone ink pad, then stamped the hearts using Homespun Hearts in Sno Cone and Kraft inks. I added a simple sentiment, a row of stitches from Hearts and Stitches stamp set and then finished it off with a Hemp Cord threaded Kraft Button. Easy Peasy.
Here is a peek at the inside of the card. I continued most of the elements, slightly simplified.
Here all the Brand Spankin' New Products used on my cards today:
