She was colored with Copic markers. I paper-pieced the chair and ottoman with patterned paper. The ground was drawn in with W2 and W4 Copic markers. I dusted her cheeks with red chalk.
I tucked a Fishtail Flag behind the main image panel, on top of newsprint patterned paper.
I chose the sentiment, "Read All About It" and added three tiny white brads to the left of the sentiment to balance it out a bit.
Here is a peek at the sentiment inside the card. I chose another sentiment from the stamp set.
I pulled in the same patterned papers I used on the front of the card.
Here is a closer look at the adorable new stamp set:

ReplyDeleteJody, I appreciate you taking the time to create such wonderful cards for us to drool over! I love your choice of papers! I love the checkered sofa and the newspring (of course), but I also really appreciate the mix of the slate blue with the pink chevron papers -- I have problems with that sort of mixing of papers and I love that I can always learn something here! I'm just a big chicken! I even buy outfits off mannequins because at least I know they'll look good together! I'm learning and learning! (And I'm older than the average bear!)
ReplyDeleteAdorable Jody!
