First up, is this Kraft on Kraft creation using Lisa Johnson's new Sweet Roses stamp set along with Laina Lamb's Mod Borders.
I popped the High Rise Alphabet Lowercase letters up, and the drop shadow allows them to be more prominent, even though they are in the same Kraft Card Stock as the card base.
One of the stamps from Mod Borders was stamped using Orange Fizz ink on Smooth White Card Stock, and I mounted it to the back-side of the card base. I added a Fishtail Flag in Orange Fizz Card Stock below that. To make it long enough, I started to cut the die on the "flag end", but then backed my die-cut machine back up, to stop the process. That allowed me to trim the sides and make a very long piece that would fit the width of the card base (and beyond).
The flower was stamped in the new Orange Fizz ink and the leaves were stamped in Factory Green ink. I threaded a Kraft Button with Hemp Cord and popped it in the center of the flower. The stem is cut from Factory Green Card Stock using the Flower Box Die-namics.
Next up, I grabbed the new Bottom Line Alphabet and replicated the effect from above, but this time adhering it flat against the card stock. The row of chevrons was stamped by cutting apart my border stamp into a section of 5 chevrons. I then inked it up, one color at a time, and carefully stamped them in succession, in an array of rainbow colors.
The button is from Button Quartet and I "threaded" it with Wild Cherry Card Stock strips.
I adhered the Kraft Card Stock letters to a thin layer of chipboard to make the letters a little more bulky.
For this card, I first created some "marbled paper" and then used the same 5 segments of chevrons stamp to pull in all of the colors used in my marbled paper.
Some simple Swarovski flat-back pearls were the perfect understated accent.
I rounded the bottom corners of the card base.
My last card uses a Factory Green card base, which I have drawn a rectangle on using a Copic Multiliner and a ruler. The corners weren't quite perfect, so I added 4 teeny tiny brads in a color that matches Orange Fizz.
I stamped 2 different stamps from Mod Borders using Factory Green and Hot Fudge inks on strips of Smooth White Card Stock and then trimmed them by hand and arranged them on the card front. I also added a Fishtail Flag in Orange Fizz.
I included a simple sentiment from Birthday Sentiments and paper-pierced under the sentiment to highlight it.
You'll DEFINITELY want to stop by the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has stamped for this release. You'll also read about some HUGE prizes being given away this week during Teaser Time that you won't want to miss. ;) Go read all the details HERE.
I'll be back in a couple days with more cards during our New Product Tour.
