I had a blast playing with the new Happy Hellos Die-namics. I just love that the die set includes three different ways to say hello, in 2 different fonts. A girl needs her options. ;)
I created a "crazy" quilted card using a blue and kraft color palette. The back layer is Sno Cone, stitched to Smooth White. I sprayed the layers with a water-based marker and then painted over the layer with gesso. When you do that, the color soften underneath, and the sprayed dye ink rises to the surface. It's pretty cool!
On one of the squares I used the negative space of the "hi" die contained in Happy Hellos. I added a piece of Sno Cone Card Stock underneath the Kraft layer.
I threaded the corrugated cardboard button (from Blueprints 1) with tiny strips of Sno Cone Card Stock.
On this one, I threaded it a little differently.
Each square was decorated with MFT stamps or dies. I used Darling Dots, Mod Borders, and Own Your Story to add patterns and interest to each square. Some were stamped with MFT Premium Dye Ink and some were embossed with white embossing powder.
These dies really lend themselves to clean and simple designs, and I put them through the paces with some different techniques and color combos.

Next up is this Natural, Kraft, and Red Hot card. I used the Spring Backgrounds stamp set on Smooth White Card Stock to "frame" the sentiment with.
The "hello" was cut from Kraft Card Stock and adhered directly to the Natural card base.
I added a strip of Red Hot Card Stock, topped with three Kraft Buttons, all threaded with Hemp Cord.
Next up, I switched out the Red Hot for Razzle Berry. I stamped Darling Dots along the bottom of the Natural layer in Razzle Berry. I added three narrow strips of Smooth White.
The tiny arrow in Razzle Berry is from Right This Way.
The "hello" was cut from Kraft Card Stock and was framed in a Razzle Berry piece from Blueprints 2.
