I have enjoyed stamping with the June release products so much that I made FOUR cards for today! :)
Let's kick things off with this clean and simple card using Trendy Triangles. I embraced the "white space" and splashed on plenty of color.
I overlapped 6 different colors of solid triangles in a row. I love how the overlapped areas create new colors.
I added a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about You.
Here is another one with randomly stamped triangles in a variety of colors and sized. I added a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about You in an overlapped area of 2 triangles I used to symbolize "us". I stamped a tiny heart above the sentiment in Berrylicious ink. I also added a simple arrow strip from Right This Way in Black Licorice.
This card uses Roses in Bloom and Blueprints 4. I used one of the digitally provided sketches and made "tiles" using one bigger stamped panel. The side panel was stamped with the wood plank image from Western Backgrounds in Kraft ink. The sentiment is from Blissful Butterflies, also in Kraft ink.
The roses were stamped with Orange Fizz ink. The leaves were stamped with Gumdrop Green. I masked them to "layer" them over one another.
My last card uses another of the Blueprints sketches and features the Palm Tree Die-namics. For the three panels in the sketch I included "sand", "sky", and "sun". I stamped Distressed Background Blocks in the background in white pigment ink. The palm tree was sponged with Kraft ink. The top was colored with Gelatos. I stamped the "aloha" sentiment on a Mini Pennant in Kraft ink. The sloped sand was cut with the Snow Drifts Die-namics.
I brayered over the coconuts with Kraft ink to draw out the embossing.
Thanks for stopping by. Please head over to the MFT Blog for a full list of participating designers. You'll find plenty of inspiration. :)
And remember, the new MFT products are available NOW, right HERE.
