the more candles...

I used a sentiment from Lisa Johnson's Birthday Greetings and brought the sentiment to life by creating candles using the Washi Patterns stamp set.  


I added several layers of colored card stock and accented with a Tangy Orange button and banner from Bitty Banners.

The three candles were stamped with Tangy Orange and the flame, which is a raindrop from Umbrella Sentiments, was stamped in Banana Split.  The sentiment was embossed in clear to help it stand out against the candles.

    Jody, what a fantastic card. Okay, I didn't know much about you until this hop. What I did notice is that you love yellow, orange and bright colors. I figured you lived in the south, yep, read your bio and confirmed my guess. I love that you are not afraid to use bright bold colors. They make such happy and cheery cards. Thanks for the inspiration. You opened up my color awareness.
