I made a couple cards using the super cool Striped Backgrounds stamp set. It is so easy to make quick and cute backgrounds with multiple stripes on each stamp.
My first card uses a heart from Heart STAX. I used More Washi Patterns to stamp on the heart and then scored between each strip to replicate the look of a plank. I used the Rolled Flower as an accent. The Striped Backgrounds was used to create a diamond pattern. The sentiment is from this month's Free with $60 stamp set, Get Well Wishes.
Up next, I used several colors of ink and created a multi-colored striped background. The large stripes were stamped in Banana Split, Razzle Berry, and then Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. This created the appearance of four different colors being used.
I chose to use the Party Balloons stamp set and Die-namics, along with Happy Birthday Die-namics.
Be sure to head back over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with using the Brand Spankin' New products! There is plenty of eye candy!
All the new stamps and Die-namics are available right HERE, right NOW. (you can also click the banner below to be directed to everything NEW).
