Cuppa Cocoa Curtain Call

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today. I am very excited to be playing along with the very sweet and talented Stacey Schafer and the Curtain Call Crew for today's Cuppa Cocoa Challenge.

The inspiration pic has lots to offer; a great color combo, a delicious theme, and plenty of possibilities.

I drew from the theme and colors to come up with my card for the challenge. I whipped out my à la modes Hot Cocoa Cutie and MFT Premium Dye Ink Refills and watercolored the character. 

She was stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black, clear embossed, and then watercolored. The background was stamped with Striped Background in Versamark.  The stamped the Typewriter Text Background in Sweet Tooth Ink on the Pink Lemonade strip.

The sentiment is included in the stamp set. I cut off the word "heart" and instead die-cut a tiny heart from Blueprints 8 and added it to the sentiment strip.  It was a way to make the sentiment fit and added a cute little accent.
