My cards today feature the Brand Spankin' New Die-namics die set, Let's Get Nautical. It includes SO many fun pieces including a port hole, anchor, wheel, and more. The port hole is sized to fit all the other dies AND the images found in the Go Overboard stamp set. That's a lot of coordination to make your creative time easier!
My first card uses the port hole and anchor. The porthole is the perfect frame for the anchor.
The sentiment is from the Go Overboard stamp set and is a stamped on a double-ended Fishtail Flag that I created. The background was stamped with the Striped Background in Fuse Green.
I added a piece of "rope" to the anchor and left the tail nice and long.
On this card I use the port hole again, but this time I framed some waves from Making Waves. I created the bottom portion with paint and was looking for a weathered wood look. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white.
The last card makes a scene with the Making Waves Die-namics, Flat-Bottom Clouds, and the anchor. The background panel was stamped with the wood stamp from Western Backgrounds. The sentiment is from the Go Overboard stamp set.
I embossed the anchor with a coppery embossing powder to make it look realistic and weathered.
The Making Waves Die-namics comes in two different sizes in two different wave patterns.
Be sure to head back over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with using the Brand Spankin' New products! There is plenty of eye candy!
