Reach for the Stars

My card today uses the new Star Background and a new stamp set from Laina Lamb, Happy Graduation. I used one of the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX, cut from vellum. The sentiment was stamped in versa mark and then embossed in white.  It was stitched on with my sewing machine. I tacked it down with 2 teeny yellow brads.

I created the background by stamping the Star Background in versa mark and embossing in white.  Then I mixed MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist with Premium Dye Ink Refills in Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, and Blu Raspberry. I put the solution in mini misters from Ranger and sprayed them on the background. I was inspired by Kimberly Crawford.  :)
