My older daughter is a sophomore in high school and has several make friends graduating, so I decided to put the new Suit and Tie Die-namics through the paces for some cards she can give away. I love that the die includes both a bow tie and tie. It allows for a couple different looks, and variety is the spice of life.
Up first is this suit card that includes a yellow bow tie. The stitched strip down the center conceals the "buttons" below it. The bow tie includes emboss detail.
I popped up the edges of the bow tie to give it some dimension.
The buttons include a ring of embossing around the perimeter.
I included some sentiments from Happy Graduation inside, as well and a strip of polka dots from Large Scale Backgrounds in Lemon Drop.
Up next is this Father's Day card with three jazzed up tools from the Tool Time Die-namics. I added mini brads to the saw, and some clear glaze to the hammer grip. The letters are from Little Letters and were adhered on the Rectangle Frame. All of it is on the Pegboard Cover-Up, which I cannot get enough of!
Last is this suit and tie card, complete with a yellow polka dot
I decorated the inside with Happy Graduation and Darling Dots in Lemon Drop.
Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team came up with for this fun challenge.
