Trick or Treat Card Duo

Hello there and thank you for stopping by today. This is the FINAL DAY of the MFT August Release Countdown. The new releases can be yours in 22 short hours on August 12 at 10 PM EST. Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day.

My cards today use many of the new products, including Spooky Sentiments, Cheesecloth Background (swoon-worthy), and Spooky Scene

My first card uses Spooky Sentiments and Cheesecloth Background. I based the design on a candy corn. It's a super quick and easy card to put together. The Cheesecloth Background is stamped on the card base in Banana Split. The sentiment was cut apart (yolo), and stamped on the individual panels of the "candy corn". I used an acrylic mount with lines etched into it to help me line up and center each word. Some simple machine stitching finished off the detail for this card.

Stamps: Spooky Sentiments, Cheesecloth
Card Stock: Smooth White, Black Licorice, Orange Fizz, Banana Split
Ink: Banana Split, Black Licorice

Up next is another quick and cute card featuring 2 of the ghosts found in the Spooky Scene Die-namics. The pattern strip is from Large Scale Backgrounds. The sentiment is from Spooky Sentiments. It was stamped on Smooth White and then I hand-cut around the stamped image. I added a bow tie to the larger of the 2 ghosts, which came from the Bride and Groom Die-namics. The edge of the card base was sponged with Sweet Tooth Ink.

These products and many more will be available for purchase TONIGHT, on August 12 at 10 PM EST.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with today.

Thanks for stopping by today! I'll see you at 10 PM EST for the New Product Launch! I have three "spooky" cards to share with you.
