Hello there and thank you for stopping by today. Today is the last day of the MFT September Release Countdown. Only 22 short hours until the new release (yay)! Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day.
My cards today embrace the open space on the card by focusing on a few smaller, focal points.
Up first is this clean and simple card featuring the adorable raccoon from Cute Critters. The Raccoon is stamped on the coordinating die and then colored with Copic markers. I added blushing cheeks with chalk and a paintbrush. A trick I learned a long time ago from Inge. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I added the adorable mask to the raccoon that is part of the die set. It was cut in white and colored with Copic markers.
Up next is this card with the spotlight on the three leaves from Falling Leaves. They were stitched down the center. On the back layer, I stamped the Burlap Background with Versamark and embossed in white. I added lots of machine stitching to offset all the white space. The sentiment is from the Mason Jar Labels stamp set.
These products and many more will be available for purchase in just 22 hours (approximately LOL), on September 16 at 10 PM EST. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with today.
