Rockin' Gift

Hello there and thank you for stopping by today. Today is the third day of the MFT October Release Countdown. This release is FULL of adorable holiday-themed products that are sure to get you in the mood for giving (and receiving new goodies of course).

I love giving gift cards as gifts. It's easy, people generally like them, and I don't see the recipient in the store next day exchanging anything... perfect! For kids who love music (or apps LOL), iTunes cards are one of the greatest things you can give. I set out to create a fun card than any teen (or music lover) would love.

I used the new Gifting Fun stamp set and some various Die-namics to create a set of headphones as my focal image! To create the headband part, I created a frame with 2 different circle dies. Same thing for the colored piece, but I made the frame thicker for that. For the ear pieces, I cut a circle in half. I "attached" it to the band with two little pieces from the Lunchbox Die-namics. From the same die, I added the little silver things poking out of the ends of the ear pieces. I used old SU cord and made an adapter using strips of card stock. Fun, right? I was kinda rockin' when I made this card (get it?).

On the inside, I created a pocket to slip the gift card into using Gift Card Grooves. I stamped a panel with Diamonds and Dots background and stamped the to: and from: using the Gifting Fun stamp set. I can see making lots of these for the holidays!  :)
